Ok so the summer may well and truly be over, but there are still a lot of those brilliant blues to be seen. One the clearer days we can still see those azure blue skies overhead. There are some stunning blue stones to be found in nature too, take a look at turquoise as a prime example. That stunning green and blue shade that goes with absolutely everything- there is a certain magic in those natural blue hues. I adore picking out stones and am particularly drawn to the bold blues! Take a look at some of these fantastic examples!
Tear drops f beads of water, these blue beads certainly have a fluidity to them that make them hard to resist! They are faceted to which makes them extra sparkly! The larger turquoise coloured beads are accented by the smaller translucent beads. The thin floating wire give this piece a light and relaxed feel just perfect for when ‘subtle’ is the way to go.
Chainmaille makes for some of the most flattering jewellery around. Its history is in armour but these days we love to wear it around our necks and on our wrists and ears. This piece of chainmaille combines the natural effect of silver mixed with the wonderful anodized blue. This bracelet is on the wider side so two lobster clasps make up the fastening at the end. This along with the blue and silver combine beautifully to create a truly magical piece!
Although we are still some way away from Christmas, there is no time like the present to hang up that blue star! Take a look at the bright blues in this piece! Here is a kaleidoscope of Azure in fact, ranging from the big blue faceted shapes to the smaller light beads. Heck this is so pretty we would have it displayed all year round!
