Lava Rocks! at Fruttituttibeadcandy

Lava rocks are fabulous when worn as jewellery. These dark and distinguished rocks are made from the earth and have some very unusual properties. Starting out as molten rock at temperatures of 1,000 degrees Celsius or  more. This soft rock gets pushed out of the earth through erupting volcanoes. They flow out from cliff faces until the air cools down the stream. The liquid solidifies and becomes Lava rock. It can then be cut, polished, carved into practically any shape imaginable. Another nice trait is that it can sometimes have an almost rainbow-like sheen to it under certain light. This just adds to it’s attractiveness.

Lava beads are said to have great health benefits too, they promote fertility in the wearer. Wearing them is believed to bring emotional strength during difficult times and dispel anger. Lava rock is also known to help clear confusion and assist in understanding those difficult problems. Understandably it is a very grounding stone as it has strong connections with the Earth so is often used during Wiccan rituals.

Lava bead jewellery

Beads directly from the earth make for some very unique pieces of jewellery. The rough surface can be smoothed down or kept in it’s natural state. The dark beads are stylish and mysterious, you will have all the power of Mother earth in your jewellery. Take a look at Fruttituttibeadcandy’s Lack rock bracelet. One of the most attractive traits is that the surface of each lava bead is in a close to natural state, adding to the ‘earthy’ feel. The series of silver plated links and light blue Swarovski stones are combined with the Lava beads to make for a very stylish bracelet.
